Why I am glad to be
part of a big family?
There are many
reasons why, but I shall just mention the biggest ones.
There is always someone to talk to, someone to play with
and someone to do fun things with, like baking and reading, walking and
watching movies together.
Being in a big
family means that you will always have a best friend...a friend who will never
leave you and a friend who really appreciates all that you do for them, they
will always be there for you!
The members in my
family know me better than anyone else, if I am sick or tired they will cover
for me...they know when I am happy or sad and they are the first ones to
rejoice with me or sympathise with me.
Each person in our
family is unique; everyone plays a big part in keeping our household going, if
one person slacks off it's harder to keep up with the work, everyone is
important!
In a big family
there is a lot of hard work, but there is also a lot of fellowship and fun! To
an outsider perhaps, it may seem that all a big family does is work...but what
they don’t see is the: sitting together around a fire in the evenings and
chatting, joking while we herd the chickens and singing songs of praise to the
Lord in the mornings while doing devotions~
In our family we
work hard but we also play and fellowship hard!
So, I am glad I live
in a big family because my parents and all six of my siblings love me, and I love
them...my family will always, no matter what, be there for me!
Home is a safe environment
and I can be myself around my siblings and parents.
If you are close to your siblings, you will never be in need of a friend, and just think! Some
people only have one best friend...I
have six!
I want to thank my parents and the Lord, for
blessing me with six GREAT friends, I hope that one day, I too, will have a
big family!
