We Have Moved!

Dear, dear friends...
You have my most sincere apologies for not writing sooner!
But, I have a very good reason~ the Gray family has moved..from the Western Cape, to the Eastern Cape, to a tiny town called Misgund.
It took quite a while to get our internet up and running, so I haven't been able to blog♥️
~
How we got this house is quite a long story, and one I would love to share with you once we are a bit more settled!
The Lord has taken care of and provided for our family so much, and we are so grateful to be living in the country again...there is already a veggie garden being started {smiles}
I shall be sharing  pictures very, very soon of the move and our new house!
Blessings to you dear friends♥️

An Ancient Chinese Village, Life In China#4

The best memory we have as a family of China, is the trip we made to an ancient Chinese village!
The school my Dad worked at offered to take some of the teachers and their families to an ancient Chinese village, about an hours drive out of the city. Of course we were very eager to go and ended up having the best time ever!

We took a delightful boat ride down the river to the other side of the village...

Everything was so picturesque...

In the background is the Moon Tower, which is so beautiful!

We then wandered the streets in the village...

And bought some traditional Rose Petal sweets at a Chinese sweet shop...

Through the village were these quaint alleyways...

And the best part was dressing up as traditional Chinese ladies!

Sofia wasn't so keen though...

With her dark skin and hair Rebekah looked the most like a Chinese lady...

I felt like a princess in this dress!

Even the older girls dressed up!

After purchasing a few souvenirs and grabbing an ice~cream, we made our way back to the school bus, a tired but happy group!
What lovely memories we made, ones we shall never forget!
Blessings~

A Trip To The Zoo, Life In China#3

Greetings dear friends, how are you all doing?

Today I am going to show you some pictures of the zoo in China.
It was really sad to see all the animals in cages, they weren't very well taken care of...but I am glad I went for the experience!
Enjoy♥

On the bus...

Can you believe that I had to travel all the way to China to see a giraffe, I am from Africa after all!

We weren't actually sure if this solitary panda was alive as it didn't move...a bit disappointing really!

Now these Red Pandas were just ADORABLE! I wanted one as a teddy for my bed!

What an impressive view, the city of Hefei!

We stopped for ice~creams on the way back...

That was our trip to the zoo!

I hope you enjoyed this post, my next post will be about our trip to an ancient Chinese village!
Have a delightful week further dear friends♥

Blessings~
