From George To Misgund~

Here, dear friends, are the pictures of our move!
I had taken a lot more...but I accidently lost them before they were put on the computer☹️
Thankfully however, I do have some, and so I share them with you today♥️

Packing!
It took us a very long time to sort and pack the contents of our house, and by the time we had boxed everything up, we had over a 100 boxes!

Sofia wiping out our plastic drawers before we packed them..

To the amusement of my family, I decorated my box~ I had fun!

Kitty loves moving...we had to be so careful not to pack her, as she was always climbing into boxes!

Taking the first few loads through!

The kiddies had great fun playing on the trailers!

A friend of ours kindly offered to help us take a few loads through to the house before moving day...
I don't think we would have managed without his help as we took two loads through and each time both trailers were fully loaded!

I took this picture on our way home~

Moving Day!

Wednesday morning dawned bright and clear with the sun shining~
Butterflies danced about within me as we prepared for the Biddulphs truck's arrival!
The truck arrived at 7:30am and everything was loaded up by about 12:30 pm.
They left before us, but after loading up the back of our bakkie, squishing in the last forgotten suitcase and box, finding space for the cats and dog, we too, were finally off!

The gentlemen who loaded up were sweet enough to let me take a picture of them in front of the truck...for memories sake. {{smiles}}

And they're off!

We arrived at our new house at about 14:00 pm and soon the men were unloading the truck.
That took some time, but us ladies were busy inside, cleaning and sorting!
We dined at friends up the road then hit the sack, as we were all exhausted!
After Wednesday came the tedious job of unpacking everything!

And that was our move from George to Misgund!
Without the help of many dear friends, I doubt we would have gotten done in time, so thank you to all who helped the Gray family move and to those who have prayed for us~
Thank you♥️

  1. Hello Gabrielle. Exciting times. Moving can be challenging. We have been living in our house for 40+ years so I have forgotten what it is like to move. Your have been very proactive. I absolutely love the way you decorated your boxes [smiles]. I hope you are keeping warm. God bless. Lots of love 💞
