Kelly~Anne, My Sister And Best Friend❤

Kelly is a beautiful person~ Inside and out!

She is kind, sympathetic and understanding.

Her name in Gaelic means 'warrior,' and she is; a warrior for the Lord, fighting the good fight and showing the love of Christ through her simple and caring ways❤

She is beautiful and she is brave!

Kelly has always been my 'buddy'~ 

Since we were little, we have always been good friends...

Kelly and I when I was born in 2007...^

In our games, instead of using a doll, I was her baby!

She used to carry me about and dress me, enjoying having a real 'doll' to play with!

Then, as we grew older, we began doing other things together, like snuggling up on a cold wintery evening to watch a travel vlog.

Or folding laundry while listening to music❤

Kelly and I on my 13th birthday...^

She is a wonderful big sister, and whenever I need to talk, she is always there for me!

And then, Kelly met a wonderful man and before I knew it my lovely sister was engaged!

 

It was so sweet to watch their beautiful love story unfold, and to see how the Lord guided the two of them to the altar❤

I was one my sister's flower girls on her wedding day and it was so special to see my beloved sister walk down the aisle and say I do to the man of her dreams, the one she had patiently been waiting for~ Her Prince Charming❤

Kelly, you are  my best friend, my buddy!

I pray that your life may be filled with happiness, you deserve it❤

Why I Am Glad To Be Part Of A Big Family❤

 Why I am glad to be part of a big family?

There are many reasons why, but I shall just mention the biggest ones.

There is always someone to talk to, someone to play with and someone to do fun things with, like baking and reading, walking and watching movies together.

Being in a big family means that you will always have a best friend...a friend who will never leave you and a friend who really appreciates all that you do for them, they will always be there for you!

The members in my family know me better than anyone else, if I am sick or tired they will cover for me...they know when I am happy or sad and they are the first ones to rejoice with me or sympathise with me.

Each person in our family is unique; everyone plays a big part in keeping our household going, if one person slacks off it's harder to keep up with the work, everyone is important!

In a big family there is a lot of hard work, but there is also a lot of fellowship and fun! To an outsider perhaps, it may seem that all a big family does is work...but what they don’t see is the: sitting together around a fire in the evenings and chatting, joking while we herd the chickens and singing songs of praise to the Lord in the mornings while doing devotions~

In our family we work hard but we also play and fellowship hard!

So, I am glad I live in a big family because my parents and all six of my siblings love me, and I love them...my family will always, no matter what, be there for me!

Home is a safe environment and I can be myself around my siblings and parents.

If you are close to your siblings, you will never be in need of a friend, and just think! Some people only have one best friend...I have six!

I want to thank my parents and the Lord, for blessing me with six GREAT friends, I hope that one day, I too, will have a big family!

Cinderella Sofia, And Prince Charming Rebekah!

I just couldn't resist sharing these photo's with you today...

So, the other day I watched the 2015 version of Cinderella, then today I was listening to the beautiful soundtrack. I had a wonderful idea! Let's dress Sofia {age 9} and Rebekah {age 11} up as the Prince and Princess!! 

We asked our dressmaker {Nancy} and our makeup artist {Beth} to help us dress them up~

They did such a wonderful job, and we all had so much fun!!

Nancy made Sofia's dress out of some blue organza, a shiny old curtain and other bits of pretty blue she could find~  

The first dance!

We put the Cinderella song La Valse de l'Amour that they used in the movie, and our prince glided our princess through the first dance...so cute!

Because Caleb flatly refused to be Sofia's Prince Charming, we had to just use Rebekah...we have all had great experience in being princes and Lords ect, in our games,  because we've always only had girls to use! But what fun we had!

A Mini Tour Of My New Room~

 Good afternoon dear readers♥

Today I would like to show you around my new room~

This is the first time that I have my own room, and I must admit, I am enjoying having 'my own space!'

I have many plans for decorating my room, so for now it is a little humble, but soon I shall transform it! All it takes is patience♥ 

So, here is my room!

In the far right corner, where a plastic chair now stands, I picture a soft, comfy couch perhaps, with maybe a bookshelf above?!

Right now, there is no cupboard in the room, but when I do get a cupboard or chest of drawers, I shall make a little dressing table on top, and make my desk a proper desk. {{smiles}}
 

I think I might paint this little bedside table a pretty white!

Where the little bookshelf is right now (on the floor!), will be my cupboard or chest of drawers...

So! There is my little room.  I shall have such fun decorating it♥ 

 I will definitely put some pictures and posters up on the wall to make the room more cheerful!

In the meantime however, I will continue to look for ideas online and keep an eye out for any treasures I might find!♥
